Christmas Party

The Christmas Party Every Company Should Host: An Ice Skating Rink Holiday Party.

Holiday season has arrived which means the office Christmas party is at hand. Coworkers will be coming in their ugly Christmas sweaters, bringing their secret Santa gifts, and bringing holiday cheer. A Christmas party is a great way to show your employees and coworkers how much you appreciate their hard work throughout the year. Decorations, food and drink, and venue round the top tips for what makes a party great but have you thought about the joyous feeling you want your employees to leave with? An ice skating rink gives that and more.

An Ice Skating Rink Makes Any Christmas Party Exciting.

Modern office Christmas parties now include families and kids. Holidays are best spent with family and if you factor in how much time you spend away from your family during work hours, going to a company Christmas party that excludes the people you care about most don’t really make your employees feel that Christmas spirit. This is also a great way to learn more about your employees and see a different side of them. Family friendly company gatherings are a great way to further engage employees and keep company loyalty up.

Hosting a Holiday party at an ice skating rink is also a great way for employees to try something new and get out of their comfort zones. A fun gathering allows your employees to show their silly sides and let loose. Ice skating is instant fun because it’s active. It allows people to enjoy a favorite family-friendly pastime but also have fun with their kids. After a tough but exciting year, this is a great close to all that hard work.

Your Party Shouldn’t Feel Like Another Office Gathering.

A company Christmas Party shouldn’t feel like you are back at the office. In fact, don’t even host it there. Where you host your party can make a huge difference in how your employees feel appreciated. You are throwing a Christmas experience, not just a Christmas Party. It should feel fun, joyous, and exciting. You should absolutely see people laughing and having conversations not about work but about more personal matters. A great Christmas gathering is one where everyone gets to be themselves and the persona of their work versions disappears. Help your employees enjoy themselves by organizing an activity, like ice skating, a true company outing that they will talk about when they come back to work from the Holiday Break. Help your employees enjoy themselves by organizing an activity, like ice skating, a true company outing that they will talk about when they come back to work from the Holiday Break.

Fundraising Venue

Why Your Fundraising Venue Matters.

Getting a ton of money for your school or community program depends a lot on where you’re hosting it. Your chosen fundraising venue might dictate who comes and how many extra “fundraising participants” they bring.

Here are the top 5 reasons an active fundraising venue is the best kind of venue to host at.

1. Doesn’t sacrifice health for fund$.

Most school or community fundraising venues are restaurants, specifically ones that won’t break the bank for families which usually means you’re not really getting a healthy meal. Raising much-needed funds for kids shouldn’t sacrifice their health to get it. A double cheeseburger meal maybe only happens once in a blue moon, but families today are spending more time, energy, and money than ever before on making sure their kids are eating the best quality foods at all times.

2. Active kids= happy kids…and parents.

An active fundraiser like one at our all-season ice rink allows kids to stay active and enjoy themselves with friends and family outside of school. We know an active kid is a healthy kid. We also know an active kid makes parents happy.

3. Active fundraising venues give more $ back!

Our all-season ice rink donates 50% of our proceeds to any fundraiser hosted with us. Most restaurants can only offer 15-20% due to food costs and labor.

4. Active fundraisers allow everyone’s personalities to come out.
We know Mom and Dad are fun because they keep telling us how fun they are but getting the chance to see them skating on the ice sling and laughing is a big parent deal. Kids want to have fun with their parents. Families can have a lot more fun gliding around our all-season ice rink than sitting at a booth eating fries.

5. Active fundraisers are more unique.

Fundraisers happen once or twice a year but throwing a memorable one where parents, teachers, and students will talk about takes some planning. An exciting and unique venue is our all-season ice rink that allows families to skate no matter the season. We provide balance buddies to help beginner skaters stay off the rail and in the fun as well as free tips and tricks to help any skater get better instantly.

Make your next fundraiser one that is truly centered around a family friendly lifestyle and host at the best fundraising venue, Indoor Ice Rinks! Contact us today and reserve your date.
